IWCF Level 2 Well Intervention Pressure Control Level 2 - E-Learning

Delegates are required to complete a minimum of 20 hours tuition and they have up to 6 months to complete a started programme.  Once they have completed their online training and can provide evidence of this they then are required to sit their Level 2 examination at an accredited IWCF training centre (Caledonia Training), pre-booking is required for this.  Course cost includes 1/2 day for the IWCF examination.

Aim:  

To provide an e-learning approach to the current IWCF Level 2 certification, allowing candidates to undertake training in a location of their choice and outwith the classroom environment.  Our technical advisors are on hand for support and advice as you work through the e-learning program.

Requirements  

Candidates are not required to attend classroom sessions but must undertake the minimum 20 hours e-learning, as stipulated by IWCF.  Candidates are also required to complete a half day written examination at an IWCF accredited centre.

Additional Information  

Candidates are required to complete each module in their e-learning training course and present evidence of a minimum of 20 hours training prior to requesting a written test session.  Once the e-learning program has started candidates will have 6 months to complete all 5 modules and sit their invigilated IWCF written examination at any IWCF accredited centre.  Candidates will require access to a PC, internet broadband connection (min speed of 2 MBPS), and Adobe Flash 10.

Intended for   Assistant Operator, Operators, Well Services Supervisors, Production Engineers and Supervisors, Integrated Service Crews and Supervision, Wireline, Coiled tubing and Snubbing Crews and Supervisors.
Those who are taking the certificate for the first time and/or those wishing to progress to Level 3 and 4.

For the combined certificate course, delegates will have to take all 5 papers including Completions, Completion operations, Wireline, Coiled tubing and Snubbing operations - certification is only awarded if candidates pass the disciplines nominated.  2 mandatory modules are Completion Operations and Completion Equipment.  *Optional modules include Coiled tubing, Snubbing and Wireline operations.  Candidates may elect to sit a single service paper or nominate two services for certifications.
